The UFRJ Science Park together with Coppetec Foundation and Hemorio are organizing another edition of a blood donation campaign. The event is open to everyone and it will take place on February 28 from 9 am until 2 pm at the Science Park auditorium. In order to donate blood it is extremely important to: be properly fed and healthy; bring an identification with photo; be aged 16-69 (minors need their parents’ permission); to weigh over 50 kilos; before the donation one should have a light meal; pregnant and breastfeeding women should not donate blood.
