The Park participates in the “React, Rio!””, movement to help Rio overcome the crisis”

The UFRJ Science Park participated in “React, Rio!””, a movement promoted by O Globo and Extra newspapers to select proposals that can help the city to overcome the crisis. The Park’s CEO, José Carlos Pinto, was one of the experts invited for a seminar promoted by the institutions to discuss how innovation might help to make the city resume its growth process. With the title “Sustainable Growth in the Economy of Knowledge””, the lecture delivered by José Carlos brought up reflections upon Rio’s vocation for being a creative, innovative and entrepreneurial center and how the lack of investments and fiscal limitations became barriers for the development of these sectors.”
