The Short Circuit Gallery of Public Art of the UFRJ Science Park won third place in the 2019 Inspiring Solutions prize, promoted by the International Association of Science Parks and Innovation Areas (IASP). The Gallery is a project in partnership with the School of Fine Arts of UFRJ and has been turning the Park into a living laboratory for art experimentation, combining technology and innovation. Created in 2017, the Gallery has already exhibited 58 works and urban interventions by more than 200 invited artists, students and professors from the university. The IASP Program of Inspiring Solutions is an initiative that aims to share knowledge, ideas, solutions and innovative projects of scientific and technological parks and innovation environments worldwide.
