UFRJ Science Park promotes an activity for the Children’s Day

To celebrate Children’s Day, the UFRJ Science Park has organized a special event for the children and relatives of the Park’s collaborators. Students of the Fine Arts School (Escola de Belas Artes – EBA) offered a guided tour to the Short Circuit Gallery of Public Art, that has both art pieces for contemplation and pieces that invite visitors to interact, and to the Laboratory of Computational Methods (LAMCE). There, the children could see how technology can transform cultural activities by increasing the immersion in the contents presented. They watched a 3D video of a submarine environment and a video of a rollercoaster ride projected in a dome (round shaped structure). At the end they also got to play a simulated car race.
